How to use this Notion space

This Notion space is a library of resources about Personal Knowledge Management (PKM). You can use it in various ways.

First of all, make sure to “Duplicate” this Notion space to make it yours. You need to do it in order to be able to make changes to it (e.g., mark something as “Explored”). Unfortunately, once you duplicate, you won’t get the updates I make to the content, so you’ll need to do this from time to time to get the newly added content.

If you're just getting started, then the most obvious approach is to learn the key ideas about PKM, either through , , or .

Here are the concepts you should be aware of and understand as early as you can: PKM, Building a Second Brain (BASB), PARA, Zettelkasten (fleeting notes, literature notes, permanent notes and links), Journaling, and most importantly, how to take smart notes. Of course, there's a lot more, but that should give you a head start.

If you already know about the basics, then you should evaluate and select one (or more?) that fits your needs. Importantly, you can filter all of the tables in the PKM Library to focus on specific aspects of features. You can learn how to do that here.
